A wedding in Amroha, Uttar Pradesh, was abruptly called off when the groom received a call from the bride's lover just as the wedding rituals were about to conclude. The caller, identified as Kamal Singh, threatened the groom and urged him to leave the bride, claiming they were in love. The groom asked for proof, after which Kamal Singh sent several intimate photos and videos of the bride.
The groom, upon seeing the evidence, refused to proceed with the wedding, leading to the marriage procession returning home. An FIR has been registered against Kamal Singh, and police have begun investigating the incident. Reports indicate that the baraatis and guests had already eaten, and only the final rituals of the seven rounds and send-off were remaining when the groom received the fateful call.
